You will find one nearby on most days of the week positively heaving with good, fresh, homegrown produce. And the vineyards that greet you on every turn produce gallons of glorious wine to tempt and tantalise your taste buds. Yes, the South Charente is one of the best-kept secrets of France as well as one of the best-kept areas of France.
